ECO ONE PRE-FILTER
The EcoOne Pre-Filter saves you money, time and hassle by removing or reducing most common water contaminants before they get into your spa. It simply connects to the end of your hose and filters your source water as it enters the tub.
The Eco One Pre-Filter can be used with any water sanitisation regime.
The Eco One Pre-Filter is designed to rid your source water of chemical contaminants and dissolved heavy metals. These can cause water discolouration, pH swings, undesired chemical reactions, health risks and much more.
It removes:
- Dissolved heavy metals
- Calcites and lime scale
- Organic contaminants
- Plus hundreds of other common water contaminants.
The Eco One Pre-Filter will remove 90% of chlorine and 98% of metals from up to 40,000 US gallons of water.
The EcoOne Pre-Filter alters the molecular structure of calcite which inhibits its clinging capability. Calcium ions are removed from the water which changes calcite lime/scale deposits into aragonite. This alteration causes the lime/scale to remain suspended in the water where it cannot cling to equipment.

Instructions
- Flush your garden hose before use to remove contaminants.
- Remove the filter end-caps and save for later storage of the filter. Once it has been used the Eco One Pre-Filter must not be allowed to dry out as the media will harden and become ineffective. If the end caps are lost, store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
- Attach the supplied hozelock connectors to each end of the filter and the filter to the hose. Flush for a further minute until the water runs clear.
- Maintain a flow rate of approximately 2 gallons per minute. To measure your flow rate, time how long it takes to fill a gallon bucket.
- For highly contaminated water reduce the flow rate.
- The Eco One Pre-Filter is not a micron filter and is not designed to remove heavy sediment. If you have heavy sediment contamination this might block the inlet area of the filter but this can be removed by placing the inlet end of the filter into a bucket of cold water and swirling it around.
The Eco One Pre-Filter can also be used for filling garden ponds and fish tanks and for washing you car!
The Eco One Pre-Filter can be re-used when filling your hot tub according to the following:
