Water chemistry is very important in hot tubs, as many organisms thrive in a warm, wet environment. Maintaining the hot tub water chemistry is necessary for proper sanitisation and to prevent damage to the hot tub.

Important: Most hot tub manufacturers can avoid replacing defective parts under warranty if they can prove that unbalanced water has caused the fault.

Always start by making sure your Total Alkalinity level is within 80 - 120ppm. Then you will find it easier to balance out your Ph.
