Dirty Filters Causing Flo Problems -Costing Money!!

(March 12, 2010)
Aside from Sanitising your water to keep bacteria under control, Nothing is more important for hot tub water quality than your filtering system...

A dirty and clogged or worn-out filter will fail its job of trapping contaminants, and put strain on your spa's pump.
This can cost you many £s to have repaired/replaced not to mention the cost in chemical you will have wasted trying to keep your water clean!

To keep your filters healthy and efficient, just follow these simple steps:
  • Rinse your filters every week, using a garden hose, and apply the water stream at a 45-degree angle, making sure to dislodge all foreign matter by spraying between each pleat.
  • Clean them Monthly, over night in a filter cleaning solution.
  • Replace them Annually.

Rotate Your Spa Filters:
Use the filter rotation method- while cleaning your dirty filter in Filter White over night, swap it with a clean dry spare. With this system you'll never have to wait to use your spa, and your filters will last longer. Allowing filters to dry completely after cleaning will help destroy any resident microorganisms and allow the paper fibres to knit back together properly, creating a more efficient filter.

-You didn't spend however many thousands of pounds on a spa, not to use it and I wouldn't use mine if the filters weren't doing their job!
